I Had Quadruple Heart Bypass Surgery In 2006 & Following
I Had Quadruple Heart Bypass Surgery In 2006 & Following Surgery I Was Advised That I Had Type 2 Diabetes. Took Metformin 1000 Mg Daily For 10 Years Following Surgery & Was Under The Care Of A Endocrinologist For At Least 5 Years. New Primary Care Physician Advised Me To Stop Metformin 2 Years Ago Because He Believed That My Kidneys Were Being Effected. Thus, No New Medication Prescribed. I Have Taken My Blood Sugar Levels On & Off For The Past 2 Years & My Sugar Levels Are In The Normal Category. Had New Blood Test On 7/23/2018 & My Blood Sugar Was 106 When Fasting. Cardiologist Who Took Tests Advised Me To Visit Another Physician For Proper Handling. Other Than Sugar Levels Being A Little Bit Beyond Normal Levels, My Entire Other Readings Were Within Normal Ranges, Including C & T Levels. Should There Be Any Real Concern? Thank You.
