I ahave diagnosed with glossopharyngeal neuralgia. I took tegretol for 2 years but it stopped working suddenly. I have been on tegretol for a year, but it seems to be stopping now. I have been taking 600 mg at night and 450 in the morning, that doesn’t seem to get me thru the day. I have been told I can take 600 in the morning. My question is, what is the maximum dose I can take each day? I plan on going to my dr. Next week.
