I always have bad period cramps but today I started my period and the cramps were awful but I thought nothing of it because my cramps are always bad, then I went to babysit and I got super light headed to the point where I almost passed out and then I started to have cold sweats. I felt nauseous and I could not find a position to sit or even lay in that would ease the cramps even a little. Now the dizzy spell has passed and I am extremely cold now. Is this normal for the first day of a period or should I see a doctor?
