I am 26 and have been ttc for 18mths. I was diagnosed with PCOS and I did one round of clomid but no follicles on my day 12 US. My dr now wants me to go on diann when i get my next period (which could be anwhere between 6weeks-8months) for 2 cycles then try clomid again. I am also on metformin 1000mg which she has asked me to increase to 2000mg.
I am in the normal weight range for my height and my insulin resistance is minimal. I'm not sure how taking birth control will help with conceiving? And why do i have to wait for my next period? I dont think I can wait 10 months to try again!
