I Am 39 Yrs Old And I Had A D&C

I am 39 yrs old and I had a D&C and Hysteroscopy procedure done due to the fact of heavy bleeding for two months straight. This procedure was done in July 2015 and we are in March 2016 and I still haven't had a period. Now am having real bad pains in my lower stomach and back and pressure on my bladder to the point where it hurt to move or lay down. I am worried that something is really wrong. My dr have me going to get an ultrasound done. And I still don't have any answers to why my period haven't came on for the last 8 months please help
