Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 40 years old. Yesterday I had an mri for chronic migraines. Doctor said all is well and sent me home. Today, I'm reading over my results and it says I have mild atrophy of the left insular cortex and mild global atrophy. Is this early onset dementia? My doctor didn't even go over these results with me. He just told me my scan was "all clear". If it helps, I have fibromyalgia and chronic migraines. Thanks for your time.
