I Am 43yrs. Due To Excess Bleeding While Menstrual Period
I am 43yrs. Due to excess bleeding while menstrual period since past 4 years ,as per Drs. instruction, I have taken a abdomino-pelvic ultrasound and it shows as follows: bulky uterus with multiple fibroids (largest measuring 30*27mm) , endometrial thickness 12mm, bulky Uterus LS- 8.1cms, AP 7.0 cms, TS 6.2 cms.. Kindly suggest what needs to be done /any risks..? Now, I am taking norgest as per doctor advice. After, taking norgest I feel good menstrual period comparing to previous menstrual period. However, i have starting backache problem. Is this the side effect of medicine ( Norgest) ?

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if this is uterine fibroid and it is large enough so in my opinion this may needs surgery, still you can discuss this with the doctor for ablation therapy with radio frequency, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
