I am 44 years old. My blood test results Hba1C-7.6% Urinary Albumin - 736.1 mg/l Albumin Creatinine Ratio - 578.24 I am taking the following medicines Galvus - 50mg 1-0-1 Coversyl - 5 mg 1-0-0 Glucophage - 850mg 1-0-1 Glucovance 500mg/5mg 1-0-1 I am diabetic over the last 14 years I am taking this medicines for the last 1 year. The doctor changes these based on results. Is my condition better
Your Hba1c if stay below 6.5 mmol/l then it is said good control.. Your urine albumin should be below 150 and albumin creatinine ration should be within 30 to 300 mg /24 hours. So from the report you have diabetic nephropathy. Avoid taking more water. take minimal salt . avoid all fruits which are more potassium and coccunut water. please consult your regular doctor and nephrologist . thank you
Certainly reports are on higher side. Diabetic nephropathy is a complication of uncontrolled diabetes where kidney functions are affected. Don't worry ! a careful dietary management and medicines will help you.
Please do following tests and visit your Dietician in this case who will plan necessary water , electrolytes and other concerns through diet.
