Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 50 years old and have had routine mammograms since before age 40 due to familial history of breast cancer (paternal aunts). Just got called back for additional testing after a 3D Mammogram found focal density in my right breast with calcifications...Have been scheduled for compression mammogram and ultra sound. From what I have read this could be "nothing" or "something"....not very reassuring. Any suggestions on questions I should ask at my next set of tests?
