I Am 51 Years Old And The Doctor Thinks I

I am 51 years old and the doctor thinks I am in the last stages of menopause. I occasionally develop yeast infections, but the anti-fungal creams only work for a few days, then it returns. I've taken an oral antibiotic, then had to change to a bacterial cream to fight the infection, yet I do all the preventative measures to avoid getting them in the first place. Is there something else I can change to avoid getting a yeast infection? Does diet, eating yogurt, or taking an oral probiotic help to keep the ph balanced so that I will quit having them? I would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations. Thank you.
