I Am 54 Years Of Age And A Type 2

I am 54 years of age and a Type 2 Diabetic. I have a very pronounced bunion on my right foot. The bone on that foot is very dark in color. About two months ago a white patch appeared on the top of my foot in the area of the bone where the bunion is. The doctor diagnosed the patch as Vitiligo. The doctor in essence advised me not to be too concerned that it would not spread all over my body. I was prescribed an ointment called Tacrolimus Ointment 0.1%. I am very alarmed and now spend most of the day checking my body for additional patches but have not seen any.
