I Am 57 Female Not Over Weight And Have Always

I am 57 female not over weight and have always had a hacking/annoying cough. However in past 6mos the cough has become rough at times. I have never coughed up blood or had any severe discoloration. I have noticed being winded. I live where humidity is off the chart as with heat. I do not feel like this in spring, fall or winter.
