Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 62 years old, I mangled my back in a car accident and have been through several pain clinics, two very reputable neurosurgeons have told me to stop seeking help as far as operations or I would find one who was willing to do it and I would only be in worse shape than I am already in. Due to the new laws it is difficult to find a doctor willing to prescribe medications that used to help. Is there any hope that the DEA (government) will get out of the business of putting pressure on reputable doctors who are willing to help but can't because of governmental interference between doctors and patients?
