I Am 66 And Recently I Started Having Muscle Twitches.

I am 66 and recently I started having muscle twitches. It started suddenly in my eye and then spread to other areas of my body. I also had some tingling in my face on both sides and in my shins. My shins are stiff in the morning. I have experienced some weakness or better yet tiredness in my right arm and leg which comes and goes. My facial symptoms come and go and are similar to the feeling you have just as novacaine is wearing off but my skin is not numb. The twitches decrease when I go to bed but seem to increase in the morning but not when I am active. I have experience brain fog that comes and goes and makes it difficult for me to focus and concentrate, but that also comes and goes. I have had an MRI which came back unremarkable. I see a neurologist in September but these symptoms do unnerve me. I have had the stiffness and tingling in my shins for a while but it does seem to have gotten worse and swimming laps seems to agitate it. Thank you for any thoughts you can give me on this. These symptoms developed about a week after the eye twitching about July 7 of this year. I had the initial test for Lyme disease and they are doing the blot tests which will come back this week. I did not have a bulls eye though I do live in central PA where Lyme disease is prevalent. Thank you for any thoughts you can offer on my condition.
