I am 68 yr old female who was diagnosed with chronic Afib in 2004; many attempts were made over the years to control my afib both shocking methods ad with meds but in summer of 2015 I was in the hospital after an emergency appendectomy and it took 11 days to finally get my afib under control. In the fall of 2015 I had pacemaker put in and in Dec an oblation of my heart was completed. It was the first time that I had a regular rate. In Nov another pacemaker was put in when the original was recalled due to battery malfunctions. While I was in the hospital, my cardiologist completed an exam to determine if there were other areas causing my heart to weaken. Nothing Now I am on Carvedilol My heart is weakened. What are my options?
