Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 71 years old and take no medications. My last physical exam and blood work came back with a PSA number of 4.4, my doctor suggested that we take it again in September and it came back at 4.9. I want to be conservative what could you suggest that I do. I do intend on getting an appointment with a urologist, but in the mean time I want to gather as much information and do anything I could do that would be helpful. As indicated I have been very fortunate and do exercise literally every day, including 5-6 days at the gym. I would appreciate any suggestions that you could offer. Thank you.
