Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 87 years old and cannot walk good. I was diagnosed about 8 years ago with spinal stenosis. I have more stiffness in one leg then the other. I am not on anything but Ibuprofen . 200 mgs. I live in a senior citizen apt complex. I feel that I should be able to walk better. I have a walker that I use when Im out of my apt. I try to walk as much in our long hallways as I can but wish I could do better. I am very healthy otherwise. I only take a thyroid pill. I am really in good health . My sister told me today that she has a lot of stiffness, like I do and her Dr gives her glucaosamine ;tablets and it seems to help her alot . Do you think that would help me?
