Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 15 year old female and have had four fasiectomies for Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome. It is now 4 1/2 months after my most recent surgery and whenever I run, if I go any farther than 200 m, my calves start to lock up. If they don't lock up and I run farther, my calves lock up within an hour and I can barely walk and it is very painful. The doctors we have seen say that my calves are just irritated from my surgeries but shouldn't I be able to run more than 200m without pain?
