I Am A 28 Year Old Female Who Recently Went

I am a 28 year old female who Recently went to the Emergency room for shortness of breath chest tightness and faintness was told I had acute bronchitis and COPD exacerbation and was prescribed on two separate occasions azithromyacin and also amoxicillin along with homotropine cough syrup an albuterol sulfate inhaler and prednisone took all the antibiotics as prescribed and steroids still use the inhaler and OTC mucinex for chest congestion it's been almost a month that I've been sick and am still coughing up mucus that is yellow and sometimes greyish particles I quit smoking when I got sick a month ago I'm just not understanding why I'm not feeling any better when the cough produces mucus it tastes almost metallic could this be a more serious underlying problem and how worried should I be I tried to schedule a follow up with a pulmonary specialist but they aren't taking any new patients until April what should I do?
