I Am A 28 Year Old Woman With 3 Live

I am a 28 year old woman with 3 live child births. I am currently on Nexplanon and have been for 9 months so there is no chance of pregnancy. Other than birth control to regulate my periods I take no medication. For the past 3 months I have been having difficulty with urination. My movement occurs at regular intervals and in a regular way but toward the end it becomes difficult to finish. I do experience pain in my lower left abdominal region and it feels as though something may be blocking the flow. I have a strong family history of pelvic organ prolapse (my mother) and kidney stones (my father) but I drink lots of fluids. My question is: is this something I should discuss with my doctor (he is not one who is much for actually hearing what I have to say) or is it normal and nothing to be concerned with?
