I Am A 33 Year Old Overweight Female. I Have

I am a 33 year old overweight female. I have been taking Lexapro for several years now and a few weeks ago my Dr had me start taking Buspar as well. The first week I took 1/2 of a 15mg tablet 2x a day then after a week started take 1 15mg pill 2x a day. I began with the full dosing last Tuesday or Wednesday. It was right around then that I began to notice that my feet and ankles were getting quite swollen and, to a much lesser degree, my hands were as well. I also noticed having random short instances of numbness in my hands and feet.
I have done some cursory research but it doesn't sound like this is a common side effect with Buspar although there are some documented instances.
Is the swelling most likely a result of taking Buspar? I feel it may be when considering the timing of everything. And also, should I discontinue taking it immediately?
I plan to contact my Dr on Monday but I get very nervous and would like an opinion sooner than that, without going to the ER or Urgent Care.
