I am a 35 yo female and for the past couple of days, I have seen a white, bright "light" almost in the shape of a comma if it was horizontal near the center of my vision in my left eye. It affects my vision because something is in the way, but objects are not blurry. Fluorescent and bright lights are sort of bothersome and my eyes do start to feel "tired" after awhile. I saw an ophthalmologist who examined my eye but did not see the need to dilate it further as he stated he could detect no abnormality and it was likely a floater. He did determine I need stronger lenses (I wear glasses all of the time-my vision is poor), which is not surprising as it has been 2 years since my last eye exam and I continually need stronger lenses. Does this sound like a symptom of anything else, or should I be confident with his diagnosis?
