I Am A 39 Year Old Man 5ft11inches And 260

I am a 39 year old man 5ft11inches and 260 pounds i was diagnosed with afib in 2013 and underwent a cryo catheter ablasion. Seemed to have solved the afib so far. I've been on 25 mg of metaprolol and baby asprin for a few years with little to no issues. Recently my family doctor raised my dosage of metaprolol to 50mg 2x dailey in an attempt to lower my blood pressure which was 140over 90 ish. Since then i have poor vision, fatigue, and slight dizziness. I am wondering if metaprolol is the cause and is it the best choice for elevated bp. The metaprolol was intended originally to keep my heart rate regulated. Could it be lowering everything too much too fast? Could it also cause bp issues?
