Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 50 year old female in good shape living with Celiac Disease, asthma and severe Colitis that has hospitalized me numerous times. I have been placed on steroid medications off and on for a good portion of my life. I was told that eventually I would suffer the long-term side effects. Sadly, I believe they are arriving. My teeth have been falling out of my mouth for the past 3 years and I recently found out after breaking a vertebrae in my back that I have issues throughout nearly my entire spine. I probably will be a candidate for a major back surgery at some point. This woman who was an energetic professional singer for 25 years; worked out, played golf and ran for enjoyment is now walking with a cane in extreme pain daily. I have other symptoms however that seem unrelated and I'm not sure if I am looking in all the right directions. My hands tremble; I am losing my hair; my face turns beat red...especially when I'm sleeping. Any advice?
