Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 53 year old woman that had a jobfor almost 11 years an do to a management changeover I lost my position with them. Since then, every test taken to find a new job I was slow and couldn't compete. Even looking for new work I didn't feel qualified for the work. I feel that I have struggled academically all of my life. I had a neurological evaluation and had an IQ score of only 78. And the evaluator even after talking to me put on her report lower level intelligence. So I am very frustrated. She also gave her opinion of ADHD in her report on me. If it means you are slower, well maybe I dk have that. But even for my age I feel that I don't act very mature for my age. And I am very sad because I've been recommended for a supported employment to find a doable job. And I still don't think anyone can help me in this highly competitive world that we live in now! What is your opinion of this? I have since filed for disability and been denied twice. In their opinion I Can think on my own and am not severe enough, but I beg to differ on their ruling.
