I am a 53 yr old male and have had 3 lumbar fusions the last one July 2016. I still have quite a bit of pain in lower right back and the toes on my right foot as well as the outside of my thigh is numb. There is also a sharp pain in my buttocks and groin with certain movement and it very difficult to stand from a kneeling posistion and some difficulty standing from a seated position. Plain xrays show last fusion has healed properly.
