I Am A 57 Yr Female. Not Overweight. Good Shape.

I am a 57 yr female. Not overweight. Good shape. I eat healthy.
I have a history from 4yrs ago with diagnosed mild case of acid reflux. I did not do anything to treat it.
I also have a mild case of MVP. Recently I have had symptoms of a reoccuring sensation of a "lump" in my throat, some soreness and phlegm in morning, shortness of breath and now heart palpitations.
I have monitored my pulse and it is at times irregular. I listened through my stethescope and the beats are at times skipping around. It is affecting my ability to sleep soundly. I do drink 2 cups of coffee / daily.
Is it time to go to the doctor? EKG? Barium Swallow?
