I am a 61 year old woman who has not had a period for three and a half years. I'm in menopause and I use the a patch( I use the lowest dose and cut those in half even) take a progesterone pill every day for the hot flashes. All of a sudden out of the blue today my left ovary started to hurt and it almost feels like it is being strangled by something but it's a sharp pain on my left side . Any ideas?...
