I am a 63 yr old female with a TKR on the right. I've been getting Kenalog Inj. In the left knee q 3 months over the course of 2 yrs. with great results. Last month I got the Inj. and the day after my knee was in acute pain under the knee towards the inside. Weight makes it worse - like carrying my grandson - and I cannot cross my left leg over my right without yelping! What in God's name could have happened? I went back to make sure there was no joint infection and there wasn't. But, I didn't get a satisfactory explanation either. This is chronic now and like everyone else - I'm too busy for this s--t ! I went in for an inj. W/a pain level of 4 and the day after I'm an 8! I'm flumoxed.
