I am a 64 year old female on no medications. I am 5' 5'' tall and 128 pounds. Last Friday, I went to my internist for my annual checkup and complete fasting blood work, which in the past has always been within normal limits. The office receptionist just called to tell me the results were abnormal. High cholesterol, and a low white cell count, both of which I have never had. The doctor cannot see me until the end of the week.
Any thoughts. It's hard to wait a few days to find out what this could be. I eat a very healthy diet that mostly follows the paleo plan, lean protein, fruits, vegetables nuts, seeds. I exercise daily, never sick.
