I Am A 65 Year Old Male With Diagnosis Of

I am a 65 year old male with diagnosis of GERD and Osteoporosis. I am not taking any medication for either. Recently, I have developed a strange taste in my mouth with food or drink intake of any sort. It is sort of like a soapy or even metallic overtone that dominates all other food tastes. I take a multi-vitamin and 5000 IU of Vitamin D. I am curious what might be causing this.
