Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 70 yr old female. I am on my second pacemaker. I had a quadruple heart bypass in Nov. 2011. I have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and take medications for all. Last night after a wonderful and exciting night out to a symphony concert as I lay down for my night's rest my body (mostly the upper body) began to vibrate (like a tens unit). It didn't hurt but was very strange and disconcerting. I have never had an incident with my pacemaker. All has been normal except it works 99% of the time (had to have first replace in 7 plus years). I am just concerned as to what was going on. I just had my pacemaker check & cardio check up last month and all was well. Thank you.
