I Am A 71 Year Female And Was Prescribed Risedronate

I am a 71 year female and was prescribed Risedronate Sodium150 mg, 1st dose taken 1/23/16. 2nd dose will be due 02/20/16. I have not felt good since 1st dose, cold symptoms, cough, back pain, diarrhea/constipation,strange dreams,hot flashes. I was diagnosed with a 5mm stomach ulcer 9/15 and do have colitis. In June 2011 I had a bowl resection due to diverticulitis and have had reservations about taking an osteoporosis orally. I will probably call the endocrinologist before taking a 2nd dose.
