I am a 72 year old male, 5'6", 215 lbs. In 2002, I had a dissected aorta, repaired with an artificial aortic valve and 5 bi-passes. My cholesterol at that time was 178. Even so, I was put on warfarin and statins. The doctor took me off of statins when I developed Rhabdomyalosis, however, I still take warfarin. In 2012, I had a bilateral stroke across the brain stem. After the hospital had me walking and swallowing again, I was sent home with no information of what to expect or follow-up. Today, I was working outside in a 60 degree environment and started feeling not well. I came inside to recuperate. My body temp was 94.8 degrees and I was in a cold sweat. This is not an unusual for me. Eight or nine doctors have checked my T3 and Tsh, they tell me the levels are within range, then "have a good day". Other doctors, have run EEG's and done muscle biopsies without clear results. My SED rate runs consistently high ( around 40). I suffer with low body temp (below 96), cold sweats, severe muscle cramps, low testosterone (123)(shots,gels have not worked), severe muscle cramps, and excrutiating pain. This has been plaguing me for the past 5-10 years. In the first quarter of this year my cholesterol has gone up 70%. I have always been active and strong (working as a farmer and semi-driver). Now, I cannot walk on uneven ground. PLEASE, help me and/or direct me to someone who can help me feel like a human being.
