I am a diabetic and approximately 2 weeks ago, I developed a painful shoulder and was unable to move the extremity. I went to urgent care and prescribed Mobic which acted instantly to decrease or alleviate my pain and I was able to regain full use of my arm and shoulder. I took Mobic for 1 week. After 1 week, I started having problems with pain and swelling in my jaw. My face was edematous and I was unable to eat or drink. I went to urgent care and was given a pain injection and antibiotics which seem to be working although the swelling in my face has not gone down. Is the painful jaw swelling a side effect of the Mobic?
