I am a female aged 56and 5ft 2. I am 72kg. I am currently taking Lamictal 200mg for minor seizures and also Nexium 40mg tablets for reflux. I had my gall bladder removed about 5 years ago after intense constant pain in my upper stomock and under my breastbone. The drs found gall stones. Afterwards that the pain returned so the dr said it was reflux and put me on the Nexium tablets 20mg, before long it got increased to 40mg. I've been on those for about 3 years now. The pain started again at random about 3 weeks ago. It mainly starts as soon as I wake up and I then take some gaviscon, sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn’t. I have all my life had trouble with constipation until about a year ago when I was offerred a natural product called motion potion from the health food stores. This doesnot cause diarrhea but instead regulates the bowel to make bowel motions normal. My husband suggested I take some of this to empty myself. Sadly this hasn't helped. The pain lasts for between 2 - 4 hours and just before it stops I get a lot of gurgling. I read so many replies about the same pain I don't know what it may be. My husband works at night so we have dinner at about 1pm. The only other thing I have after that is some fruit and yoghurt at around 5pm and I go to bed at 8.30pm.
