I am a healthy 52 year old woman but see a spine and pain center due to damage in my neck/shoulder from a 30 career in the Army. Just recently I noticed a soft lump on the back of my neck. It has been growing. The pain doctor yesterday said it could be something that ended in "oma" but I missed it in my distraction from receiving an epideral nerve block. He has ordered an MRI and I am kind of freaking out and getting ready for my son's wedding. Can you please tell me lump on neck possibilities, so I can google them? Right now I just know they are calling it a "soft tissue mass." Thank you...!!!
