I am a new comer just received my medical card, been here in Montreal for three months. I was advised by the authorities to bring my cholesterol medicine for the period of three months. I am a cholesterol patent and my medicine is running out of stock. I dont have a family doctor and been searching for a family doctor for so long. I figured out that I have to register through CSSS and I will be put on a waiting list up to one year.
This case applies to my husband too and we can't wait one year without medication. Please advise
