I Am A School Psychologist With A Patient On 2

I am a school psychologist with a patient on 2 mg's of Risperdol... he tapered down to 1 mg Risperdol 2 weeks ago and is now having side effects of chills and hallucinations every few days for 20 to 45 minutes at a time, then they just go away. Is this normal?
