I am a virgin in my late twenties. I am finding it is not possible to have penetrative sex and my partner says he has not experienced this tightness before. It is painful but the issue is more that we cannot get the penis into the vagina, despite the fact that I am very aroused. I have been told previously I have vaginismus but I am doubtful if this is true as I have been successful in getting dialators in. My doctor also advised that I could try a local anaesthetic preparation but I am unsure which would be suitable. Can you offer any advice please?
