I Am An Ostomy Patient, Having Had A Complete Colectomy

I am an ostomy patient, having had a complete colectomy in 2010. I do not retain water well at all. I drink at least 64 ounces, up to 90 ounces of water, plus other liquids each day, yet most of it seems to leave via lots of urination, and very liquid ostomy output. I have tried eating sweet potatoes, rice, and other foods that do cause the ostomy output to become thicker, but don't do much for the frequent urination. I also use salt liberally as that can also be a problem. Can you suggest foods to eat that will help retain more water in my system - or other things I can do to hold onto more liquid in my system
