Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am an overweight, 55 plus year old woman who has a fatty liver issue and have been diagnosed as diabetic and am taking metformin. I have a glucose level of 159 and a alklaline phosphate level of 224 with a AST of 53 and hemoglobin A1c1 of 6.7. My doctor does not feel I have gallbladder issues at this time, but will not consider any other options. I take a probotic daily but at time at night I feel like I can taste what I ate for dinner. Should I get another opinion? It was been two years plus since I went to the gastric doctor and had extensive tests which said I had the fatty liver. Should I be worried about these excessive numbersk
