Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am concerned I may have polyps in my colon. I don't have any visible symptons but I have noticed when I go to the bathroom there are always a couple bumps in my stool, always in the first amount that comes out about 1 inch up my rectum. It looks like the stool had been in a pit or hole before it came out. If you took a muffin pan and dented a marble size size dent on the bottom and filled it with something and baked it when you looked at the bottom there would be a bump. this is the best way I can describe it. it has happened several times. I am 48 male, good health other than hypothyroid. not overweight, hardly eat meat or processed foods. No family history of colon cancer other than my sister did have polyps removed several years ago??
