I Am Curious, Although It Probably Means Nothing. The Skin

I am curious, although it probably means nothing. The skin of my "scalp", that is, anywhere my hair is forming, is white. Not itchy or strange, just a major difference from my normal tone, and the difference can be seen very well even behind my ears. (Which receive no light ever). I do also have what I've been told is a birthmark that leaves a patch of my hair in my bangs completely white. Does this mean anything and if so, what?
