I Am Currently Experiencing A Gout Attack As I Type.

I am currently experiencing a gout attack as I type. I am a 62-year-old male. My gout attacks usually would appear every 3 to 4 years, however lately they are occurring at a more frequent rate. My last attack was in May of 2018. Whenever I have an attack I have been taking 0.6 MG of Colchicine. I have been reading about Alopuninol and would like to know if this would be a better benefit for my gout situation?
