I am diabetic being controlled by diet. I was on insulin (humilog and lantis) and a pill(I can't remember the name) for about 5 months, had gastric bypass in 2006 and I'm no longer on either. I have been able to maintain my weight loss, but have bouts of low blood sugar. My medication consists of Vitamins, Calcium, Celebrex, Efexor, Triamterine, Crestor, Premrin(due to hysterectomy) Biotin, 81% asprin, and just recently Potassium replacement. In the past 2-3 weeks I have had a very dry mouth and split tongue. I brush my teeth 2X daily, morning and night. I drink a lot of water 3-4 bottles of water a day. I have had Thrush before, but that was quite a few years back. Any suggestions on why my mouth would be so dry? It is very uncomfortable and hurts. Thank you for any help.
