I am experiencing a great deal of pain in my neck, left side, behind and under my ear, down to my shoulder. There is no tingling or loss of strength. I have used ice and heat to little success in relieving pain. Currently taking muscle relaxers and a prescription anti-inflammatory. I started PT but her massaging of the area seems to have aggravated the relief I originally felt from the muscle relaxer. They do not seem to be effective any longer. Doctor did not order an exray. Thinking of heading to my local ER. Pain is intense and making me nauseous. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Than you.
