I Am Experiencing Pain In My Calf Muscles That Is

I am experiencing pain in my calf muscles that is most evident even on short walks. I am diabetic (25 years) but am slim and maybe even under weight. We have done an arterial doppler, which did not reveal any significant blockage. My A1C is currently at 8.3. Any ideas?
