I am experiencing sharp pains in my lower back and my thigh and calf muscles muscles and joints from my waist down, especially in the morning. I am taking Advil 400 mg in the morning and 400 mg in the late afternoon which helps somewhat. I have been diagnosed a 10 years back with rheumatoid arthritis. This is under control with my Avil and also prescription methotrexate, but this does not feel like symptoms of joint discomfort like arthritis. It feels to me more like nerve pain. Do you think I might have a pinched nerve of some sort in my lower back? I am in the process of contacting my primary physician for a referral to a neurological evaluation with a neurologist. Do you have any other suggestions?
