I Am Experiencing Tremendous Pressure In The Pelvis And Vagina.

I am experiencing tremendous pressure in the pelvis and vagina. I can't really walk. I have to do this weird squat- walk to keep my legs far apart, and still i can't help but cry out from pain. I've also been having bad cramps since noon yesterday, and lost my mucous plug yesterday evening. Tylenol isn't really doing anything for the cramps.

Possibly relevant information:
- This is my second pregnancy.
- I was induced at 40+1 with my first. She was 10 pounds and 5 ounces.
- I had a membrane sweep Wednesday. I am scheduled to be induced next Wednesday at 39+1 because of concern over size.
- Baby is head down, but facing outward.
- At my appointment Wednesday, I was 3 (nearly 4) cm dilated and 90% effaced.

Is this labor? I live 45+ minutes from the hospital and don't want to pack up my toddler for an unnecessary trip.
